ADVANCING HR LEADERSHIP | BUILDING BUSINESS SUCCESS
SUPPORTING OUR HUMAN RESOURCES
WELCOME TO NAAAHR NEW JERSEY!
Dear Members, Partners, and Supporters:
This is a thank-you letter to everyone who has championed our vision through their partnerships and member support. In January of 2017, we launched this chapter, and we would not have experienced such a stellar beginning without you. This is also an invitation letter to anyone who has yet to experience the delight of being in the company of brilliant, diverse HR practitioners, corporate professionals, and entrepreneurs whose common goal is to continuously evolve the way they can describe and demonstrate their success.
W.E.B. DuBois said, “Education is the development of power and ideal." It’s time for us to enhance our power and model our ideal by going “back to school” with expanded development and networking events. We also have some surprises in store, so check back regularly for career opportunities, mentoring information, and community support initiatives.
Finally, we look forward to reinforcing our power through our partnerships with the New Jersey Chapter of the Black MBA Association (NBMBAA-NJ), Garden State Bar Association and the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA), with whom we have begun a promising alliance.
We truly are a force when we’re together. So, get in here!!
Board President, NAAAHR New Jersey
And so we lift our gazes not to what stands between us
but what stands before us
We close the divide because we know to put our future first,
we must first put our differences aside.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS
NAAAHR-NJ & CLARITY RECRUITING
Jan. 19, 2021
Today marks the launch of a partnership between Clarity Recruiting, a boutique, woman-owned recruitment agency based in New York City, and the New Jersey chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR New Jersey). Both organizations share a mutual mission of fostering diverse, equitable and inclusive environments within the professional organizations each work to build. This alliance was spurred after a Clarity Recruiting professional joined NAAAHR New Jersey as a member and shared her enthusiasm about her firm’s active and historical commitment to sourcing diverse talent for its clients. A closer connection between Clarity and the NAAAHR New Jersey Chapter then blossomed into deeper conversations between their leaders that highlighted shared goals and a vision for the future of work. Check out our Clarity Recruiting tab for information on the partnership - and to keep updated on New Positions!
